Great people and easy to get in and out. Our regular stop when traveling back and forth to our son's house. Staff is always helpful and friendly.
Camped here June of 2016. Loved it. The park is beautiful with tall oak, pine, and magnolia trees throughout.The staff was friendly, and the everything was very clean. There were a handful of new picnic tables. Quiet location about a mile from the interstate.
Not much expressway noise. Sites not level. Dirt drives.
Facilities are fine. Road and sites are gravel. Sites have nice tables bbq pits and fire ring. Our 5th wheel is 39' and there was ample room. It might be a little tight for very larger Motor homes. Sites are pretty level. Restrooms very clean. We will gladly return when we come back to this area. PS: the staff that helped us was very friendly.
Thanks goodness for this campground. We did not pick this for a camping vacation but for hurricane evacuation. The staff was accommodating and the sites are in great shape. Has a nice pool and without cable we were able to get some stations to keep informed about the weather. I found they have one of the best camp stores. We travel in an A class and dont tow a car so having a complete store really helped is. We have had difficulty connecting to the wifi but that's my only issue. While I hope to not need to come back again soon this will always be my west hurricane evacuation location.
